Glamping > Camping

We try to go away from where we are on our anniversary as a little treat/celebration for ourselves. This year, Magnum suggested going glamping down South at Yallingup. I have been wanting to go glamping for such a long time! Personally, I choose glamping over camping. The thought of not being able to shower freaks my hair out, no thank you!

Here are some pictures Magnum took of me/us during the 3 days 2-night getaway. We had such a wonderful time!

First stop we made after arriving in the little town was Cape Lavender Town House. Everything in there was lavender-based, from their tea to their capsicum chutney! Even the decors are hinted with lavender.
I wanted to visit this town house because I've been to the one in Pamberton. In comparision with each other, I prefer the Pamberton Lavender & Berry farm over Cape Lavender Town House (not to mention their fluffy blueberry pancake). Pamberton's products have more of a lavender taste and smell in all their products, whereas Cape Lavender only has notes of it.

We ordered Green Sencha with Lavender tea, but all we could taste was Green Sencha...

We made our way to our glam tent and two cute yak looking cows came to greet us. They were so friendly and cute. But they had crazy eyes...

So many of you asked for the location of the tent- say no more.
My review for this spot?
It's like camping, but better. The tent is located within a retreat area.
You will have to walk 1 min or drive to the toilet, which is part of the pool amenities. Thank goodness for showers!
We had the pool and toilet to ourselves because not many people were staying at the lodge.
You are provided with chargeable lamps for night time and a Bluetooth speaker.
Birds will be your morning un-snoozable alarm.
A bonus is it is so close to town!

The next morning (which was our anniversary day) we had brunch at Bunker Beach Cafe

We did not do much exciting things this time around compared to the last two times we've been. Magnum flew his drone around, took some really nice photos of the area. So proud of him!

Wyadup Rocks- known as Nature's Spa.

Here's a photo of me being scared of falling

Canal Rocks- WHY CAN'T I BE A MERMAID? The sound of waves slapping on rocks makes me so happy.

I hope you enjoyed reading my little hoo-haa post of nothing. Short getaways are always nice when you want to spend some alone time with someone. You focus on nothing but that person, what to eat and where to go. Let us know if you're going, you'll enjoy it as much as we did!
